Treatment

During treatment the RFF Resurfacing technology emits brief pulses of electrical currents through cone-shaped electrodes that slide into the epidermis to form pinhead-sized spots. This creates micro-wounds which trigger the body’s natural wound-healing mechanism, and prompts the production of new, healthy and younger-looking skin, by stimulating collagen and elastin production.

How long will it take to see results?:

Trifractional resurfacing will trigger your body’s natural body’s natural wound-healing mechanism, and prompts the production of new, healthy and younger-looking skin, by stimulating collagen and elastin production. Results will be noticeable relatively quickly but continue to grow as the cells are renewed. A series of treatments is recommended for best buildable results.

How long will results last?:

Longevity of your results will vary depending on the nature of your concern and overall skin/body goals.

For example, once scarring is reduced, as long as nothing happens to induce more scarring then you will have permanent scar reduction.
For skin tightening and anti-aging, maintenance treatments are recommended to help with the natural pace of aging.

What should I expect after a treatment?:

While there is minimal downtime and you may resume most normal activities shortly after treatment, it is normal to experience some redness and swelling that can last 3-5 days, depending on the individual.
