About Divine & Free Wellness & Medical Spa

Our History

Divine & Free began in 2020 in a beautiful, newly renovated space located in the heart of the Perron District.

Though the inception of the spa began during a pandemic, our passionate team has a history of working together that spans up to 20 years prior with a combined 90 years of aesthetic experience.

By 2021, Divine & Free had undergone an expansion as the spa had grown exponentially during its first year in business and more space was required. It was during this time that new cutting-edge technology was also added to the already impressive roster of medical-spa treatments.

In 2022, Divine & Free was awarded the “Ignite Award” of distinction for most dynamic start-up in St. Albert after a growth of 370% in the first 2 years in business.

As of 2023, we continue to grow and provide our community with honest and personalized care for every individual. We believe being well-informed is paramount, which is why every consultation is and will always be complimentary.

Our partners and suppliers are rigorously reviewed for their ability to offer products that safeguard the environment, are cruelty free, and reduce their carbon footprint through their ethical sourcing, processing and packaging practices. We invest in high quality implements and techniques to reduce wastage and depreciation as well as eliminate the use of harsh chemicals.

Health & Safety

You deserve to feel safe. We are proud to offer alternatives to harsh chemicals found in cleaning products and disinfectants by using eco-friendly alternatives at Divine & Free. We know that effective natural, plant-derived cleaning products that are AHS approved may cost a little more, however we take pride in investing in what matters most.

  • We ensure we take the time to carefully and diligently disinfect every treatment room between clients.
  • All linens are removed to be promptly washed and sanitized and replaced with fresh ones.
  • High-touch surfaces such as our non-porous countertops, door knobs, light switches, etc. are disinfected throughout the day at regular intervals.
  • Single-use tools and supplies such as files, buffers, gauze pads, etc. are promptly disposed of after use.
  • Our implements and tools are high quality surgical steel that get sterilized in our hospital-grade autoclave after your service is complete. 
  • Hand sanitizing stations are placed strategically throughout the spa.

Spa Etiquette

Appointments & Cancellation Policy

Appointment times are reserved especially for you. Therefore, we operate by appointment, as we cannot guarantee availability for walk-ins.

If you must cancel your appointment, we would appreciate 24 hours notice. 

If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to your appointment, you will be subject to a cancellation fee. A credit card may be requested prior to rescheduling future appointments. Securing an appointment with Divine & Free indicates that you acknowledge these terms and agree to comply with our cancellation policy.

Technician Preferences & Special Requests

Should you have a technician preference please make sure to include the request at time of booking. Our team will gladly accommodate all requests made. Please note it may be harder to fulfill your request at peak hours and by booking in advance we can secure your preferred technician and time requests.
Our online booking program will allow you to select the technician of your choice.

Please be sure to tell us if there is anything we can do to enhance your experience. Whether it is in-room temperature, a special surprise for someone, or the music volume, please communicate your preferences or special requests and we will do our best to accommodate.

Arriving Early

If possible, please consider arriving 15 minutes early to give yourself time to check-in, complete or update necessary forms, unwind, and start your treatment relaxed and on time.

Arriving Late

Sometimes circumstances prevent you from arriving on time. Please call the spa if you are running late. We will try to reschedule or adjust your appointment. If rescheduling or appointment adjustment is not possible, your treatment time will start and end as scheduled so that the next guest may enjoy their treatment. (Full charges will apply).

Communication

Please notify us at the time of booking of:

  • Allergies
  • Recent surgeries
  • Pregnancy
  • Any physical ailments including cardiac problems, epilepsy, cancer, or diabetes.

If you or anyone accompanying you is under the age of 16. All young adults and children over the age of 12 are welcome as spa guests. Parental permission, including health information is required in writing and the parent must remain in the spa during the service.
Unfortunately due to the nature of the spa and keeping the consideration of other guests in mind the spa is not suitable for infants or children under the age of 12.

Refunds & Exchanges

No refunds will be offered for services rendered. Once services have been paid, including memberships, pre-paid treatments, and series/packages, refunds will not be provided. 

Unopened/unused product(s) with packaging intact may be returned or exchanged.

Gratuities

Divine & Free does not automatically include gratuities in services or memberships, but they are graciously accepted and appreciated.

If you choose to offer a tip to a team member, please know that it is entirely voluntary and should be given at your discretion. There is no expectation or pressure to tip, and your decision will not affect the quality of service you receive.
